Hostal Corazones - Part II

Flashback to October! My cousin, Tonya and her friend, Shane came for a visit for a few days. It was fun being a tourist with them and showing them all the lovely things Granada has to offer! Elsa, as always, enjoyed having new people around (and she loved Tonya's hair...that girl and hair!) We managed to visit the Alhambra, walk around the city, enjoy some tapas, have tea at the teterias, and shop all in just 2 days. Here are some of the highlights:

P.S. Gonzalo had a super busy week of classes that week so was only able to join us at night...and we even celebrated his birthday (35!) with an ice-cream cake. I thought we took a photo.....but I guess not? If I find it, I'll post it!

Hostal Corazones - Part I

October was a busy month for visitors...first, we had my good friend, Jake here for almost two weeks. Jake and I studied here in Granada together for a year 12 years ago! Wow...we're getting old! It was really fun to have him here!

A New Primo!

Little Pablo arrived on October 18th, 2011. Estrella was very excited about her "bebe" and Elsa was very interested in the new little guy! The new family of four is doing great!

September Visitors

Grandma and Grandpa Colin came to visit for a week at the end of September. Elsa was a little confused at first...I'm sure she was thinking, "What are you doing here?" - but she was very excited and had lots of fun! We spent time hanging out, walking around the city, visiting the Alhambra and even spent a day on the beach.

September 2011 - I think we're all a bit cuter now!

Summer Summary - Part IV

Here's the last installment in our summer adventures!

After our week in Gor, Gonzalo, Elsa and I headed to the beach for 15 days! It was the first year we have ever spent so much time there and it was really lovely. Relaxing and fun...and Elsa loved the sea!

Most days, we spent our mornings on the beach...

Parents getting suckered into buying the annoying light-up musical toy...pretty sure it should come with a seizure warning. I think Alex and Anichi bought a light-up ball...much better choice. We "accidentally" left ours at the beach apartment...

We also went on a few field trips...and we brought our little Mowgli with us ;) (The river was fun...but dirty!!)
