February Fun!

I realize it's April but I really wanted to go back and document some of the fun we've had in the last few months! I started this post over a month ago....I think it's time to finally finish it!

February flew by but we had lots of fun! We got used to having Adela in our family and we enjoyed a long visit with Grandma and Grandpa Colin! They quickly joined our routines, took Elsa to school every morning and stayed at a hotel right around the corner. We also made time for walks around the city, a short day trip to Malaga and lots of playing at home. It was so nice to have them here - we enjoyed our time together and they were a big help. Toward the end of their visit, it felt like they just lived down the street. We already miss them!

As the weather got nicer and we got a little better at organizing ourselves to go out with two kiddos, we ventured out into the city for walks, lunch, sightseeing and fun....

2 Months Old!

I have tons of catching up to do with posts from February and March, but I didn't want to miss this important day!
Happy 2 month-day, sweet Adela! It seems like you have been part of our family forever!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a fun, sugar-filled afternoon! We made (and ate) some cookies and the girls got lots of fun gifts! Elsa was most excited about her new owl purse from Grandma & Grandpa Colin! Adela, of course, loved her new sweater and flowery tights! Elsa got some cute clothes too...but that's not as fun as a new purse, right?

Welcome Home Adela!

Welcome Baby Girl!

Adela Jane joined our family on January 28, 2013 at 2:45am here in Granada. Her entrance into the world was fast and furious - Gonzalo and I made it to the hospital just a few hours before she was born. She weighed 2.95 kg (6 lbs, 8 ozs) and was 51 cm long (20 inches). We are all so excited to have another sweet girl in our family. Elsa is SO excited to be a big sister to a little sister...I think she knew all along it was going to be a girl!
